    AFarCloud ontology

    The AFarCloud ontology covers several domains

    1. Farm domain: it includes information related with crops and livestock:

    • Crops: information about the main features of crops. Some of the concepts are based on the information model used in the FOODIE project (http://www.foodie-project.eu/).

    • Livestock: models information related to cattle.

    1. Sensors domain: this domain includes information about sensors, actuators and IoT devices used in agriculture. The model extends the Semantic Sensor Network Ontology (SSN) ontology.
    2. Vehicles domain: this domain models aerial, ground and underwater vehicles and their degree of autonomy. It extends the ontology from the SWARMs project (http://www.swarms.eu/)
    3. Mission domain: this domain is responsible for providing a general representation of the mission composition and planning for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV). It is based on the ontology from the SWARMs project (http://www.swarms.eu/)
