# Continuous Certification Evaluation (CCE)
Author: XLAB d.o.o.

Builds an evaluation tree from initial data (gathered from the MEDINA Catalogue) and updates it with received assessment results.
Exposes gRPC server (on port 9090) for integration with Clouditor (orchestrator) - to receive assessment results and send tree statistics (operational effectiveness).
Exposes an HTTP API (port 8080) with endpoints returning the current tree state or history.
Requires a MongoDB instance (can be simply run with docker as such: `docker run -p 27017:27017 mongo:5.0.9`).
### Usage with Docker
Build image: `docker build -t cce .`
Run container:`docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 9090:9090 cce`
#### Docker compose
The entire CCE, including mongo DB and the CCE frontend, can be easily run locally with docker compose.
Simply inspect the docker-compose.yml for any needed environment changes and run the compose file.
#### Parameters:
* `--corsHeader=http://localhost:8081` to add CORS header for all API responses (must be set to frontend server address)
* `--mockTree=true` to enable **demo mode** - initialize with three mocked ToEs: a hard-coded sample tree and assessments results as shown [on this diagram](misc/sample-tree.png) and two ToEs with the same structure and some random assessment results
* `--server.port=8081` - HTTP port
* `--grpc.server.port=9191` -- gRPC port
* `--spring.data.mongodb.host=localhost` -- MongoDB host

* `/history/{treeStateId}` -- returns the specific tree state by ID
* `/onREOUpdated/{reoId}` -- event handler used by CNL Editor to notify CCE that specifiied REO has been modified
> Valid formats for passing time parameters are ISO 8601 (which must include milliseconds) and "yyyyMMddHHmmss" (where UTC timezone is applied).
